Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL),(A Government of India Enterprise) has released for recruitment to 27 posts of Field Engineer & Field Supervisor in Electrical and Civil Disciplines in ER-II for POWERGRID Medinipur-Jeerat Transmission Ltd.

- Field Engineer (Electrical) - 13 Posts

For Field Engineer, Rs.30,000 for 1st year & Rs.33,000 for 2nd year; For Field Supervisor, Rs.23,000 for 1st year & Rs.25,500 for 2nd year
Age Limit as on 19th July 2017 :
Upper age limit is 29 years for both Field Engineer & Field Supervisor Posts.

a) Field Engineer (Electrical) -
- Candidate must have completed B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Sc. Engineering./ AMIE in Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical and Electronics/ Power Systems Engineering/ Power Engineering from a recognized institute/ university with minimum 55% marks.
- Candidate must have 01 years post qualification relevant work experience.
b) Field Engineer (Civil) -
- Candidate must have completed B.E./ B.Tech./B.Sc. Engineering./AMIE in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute/ university with minimum 55% marks.
- Candidate must have 01 years post qualification relevant work experience.
c) Field Supervisor (Electrical) -
- Candidate must have completed a Engineering Diploma in Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical and Electronics/ Power Systems Engineering/ Power Engineering with minimum 55% marks from a recognized technical Board/Institute.
- Candidate must have 01 years relevant work experience.
d) Field Supervisor (Civil) -
- Candidate must have completed a Engineering Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 55% marks from a recognized technical Board/Institute.
- Candidate must have 01 years relevant work experience.
Selection Process :
Only a Written Test (Objective Type) will be conducted which will be held at Bhubaneswar.
Selection for Field Engineer post will be made through Interview only.
Application Fee :
Candidates have to pay Application Fee (Non-refundable) charges of Rs.400 plus Bank Charges for Field Engineer post and Rs.300 plus Bank charges for Field Supervisor posts.
Fee can be pay online or can be deposited at any branch of State Bank of India (SBI) through a challan which can be generated online. No fee charges for SC/ST/PwD & Ex-SM Candidates
How to Apply : Eligible candidates are required to apply through online application form at PGCIL's official website www.powergridindia.com under career section from from 5th July 2017 to 19th July 2017. Candidates have to upload Scanned copy of recent passport size color photograph with white back ground and Scanned signature of the candidate.After submission of application,candidate must take a printout with the help of unique Registration Number which shall be furnished at the time of interview (if called for).
