SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Recruitment Examination 2017
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has published for the posts of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ ( Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted ) and Stenographer Grade ‘D’ (Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted) in Ministries/ Departments of Central Government including Attached/Subordinate offices located in States and Union Territories all over the country through an All India Open Competitive Examination which will be conducted in the month of September 2017.
Name of Exam : Stenographer (Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’) Examination 2017
Vacancies : Vacancies will be determined in due course and will be uploaded on the website of the Commission after finalization of vacancies
Age Limit :
Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 1st August 2017.Upper age limit will be relaxable up to 05 years for SC/ST candidates, 03 years for OBC candidates, 10 years for PH (PWD)/ cerebral palsy, 13 years for PH (PWD)/cerebral palsy+ OBC, 15 years for PH (PWD) /cerebral palsy+SC/ST.
Academic Qualification : Candidate must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
Selection Process :
Selection process will consist of written examination and skill test in stenography.In skill test candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English / Hindi at the speed of 100 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 80 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’.Candidates who qualify in the skill test will be recommended for appointment by the Commission on the basis of total marks in the Written Examination.
Application Fee :
Application fee charges are Rs.100 (Rupees One Hundred only) which should be pay either Offline through challan of SBI to designated branches of SBI within the working hours of bank upto 06-06-2016 OR On-line by SBI challan/ net banking/debit card/credit cards.No fee charges for all women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Persons with disability and Ex- servicemen.
